AO: Retribution is finally live!

Just to be clear, this is a side novel taking place after AO2 that follows Riley.  All of the beta readers have been pretty ecstatic so hopefully you guys will enjoy it!

I can’t wait to hear what you think and please leave a review!

Hi Travis! Congrats on another release! Just wanted to ask, do you have any idea when the audio book will be live? I was looking forward to grabbing this one for my ride home, but if I have to wait a day, I’m willing 🙂

Should be up now in almost every market! The UK is the exception since Audible UK bungled the launch on their end. I’m working on resolving this.

Thanks! I got it for my morning drive on Nov. 1. I’m loving it so far, very eager to see what kind of cool new powers Riley gets!

      Should be live now!

I’m still having some trouble with Audible UK. They bungled the audio terribly. Instead of putting up AO: Retribution, they took down AO2. I’ve entered a support ticket but they are super slow to respond.

Hi Travis, love the books! Was wondering if this would be available on Google Play as well?

Unfortunately no. In order to make the books available in Kindle Unlimited, I can’t make them available for sale on other distributors – which is a Catch 22 since KU accounts for a huge number of readers. This is just one more example of how Amazon is going to rule the world one day…

I got it yesterday and have already finished it, as soon as I finished it my friend “borrowed” it right out of my hands claiming it was her turn to read it, which i can understand since i was the one who got her into reading the first one as soon as I had finished that one too. I love this series and can’t wait for the next book to come out already.

I’m glad to hear that I can encourage book theft! I need to get my ass in gear on book three – I’m hoping to have it out by the end of March 2018.

Just finished! I couldn’t put it down! Started and finished today. This was an incredible extension of the story. I’m so excited for the third main series book to come out. This Riley stuff was great but I’m ready for the darkness t claim me!

It’s been a long long time since I’ve read a book series I feel so attached to. I haven’t seen stories and characters developed so flawlessly in a long time.

I’m heartbroken… I have to wait an entire 4 1/2 months for the next book of my favorite series? *sigh*

I would love to be considered for your Beta or ARC reading list. Is there a specific place I need to go or form I need to fill out for this?

    Thanks

I’ve been very pleased with how nail biting the endings have been, keep it up! Can’t wait for more.

Absolutely loved it 🙂 It was great to see the game through another player’s eyes, and the new characters were pretty strong! I do have one quip about the series, and that’s just the repetitive words. “Obsidian”, “groused”, “dryly/wryly”, and “pulsed and throbbed” are a bit overused, to name a few. Granted they’re accurate adjectives/verbs so they do the job! They distract me a bit in the more serious parts of the novels. Aside from that minor detail, I adore this series to no end. I found the first book after finishing “Ready Player One” and I’ve listened to the first two books no less than a dozen times <3 They're my go to books for when I'm working late at night and need to get lost in a good story. I just downloaded Retribution and have already listened twice through in the one week I've had it! Looking forward to all your future works. This is my favorite genre of book/anime to submerge myself into. 🙂 I really hope you get to see your series realized as a movie or series one day! Please keep up the incredible work. I'll be eagerly awaiting the next installment!

Yeah. Repetitive words/phrases are a problem – even after multiple editing passes and several fresh pairs of eyes. I just sort of get in a rut writing the draft and then have to go back and make it a little more polished. Like I use “for/in a moment” a LOT. I’m trying to get better at varying diction and sentence structure.

Just finished Book 2. Now starting Retribution. Loving the series. I can’t wait for the next book. The ending of Book 2 is killing me, I expected something to happen but not to that extent. I am amazed and excited. I need more.
